I don't think about hunchback Brand, a faceless Ninja and a physically decayed pair of bones and skin that crawls out of the jungle. I don't think about flossing e-boy Malzahar with greased up hair doing Orange Justice on a Bar table. I think about pretty suits and high-class people. It's not just the in-lore stuff that bothers me but the fact that when you say "Debonair" to me, I think about Vi. None of them really look like the style suits them either. Unrelated to this post I wrote EXACTLY those 4 champions down as well, Brand, Yi, Zed and Malzahar. Had it been a different name, or a different theme that was announced for this skin line (like how crime city nightmares was "crime city" nightmares), then I wouldn't have made this post at all. Its not that these skins are typically bad, its just that it doesn't live up to the fantasy of the "debonair" name. Sorry I rant because I really like suits and other formal wearĮdit: I realize I sound like a typical spoiled brat, so I will try to change my tone here. imo they should've just gone with 975 skins for these give suit and maybe some slight vfx adjustments like colour change or slight tweaks. They didn't even nail the zaunite aesthetic down the current effects look mediocre and what the fuck is eldrich magic doing in the effects? Shimmer? Conqueror Jax seems more like a debonair 2.0 skin than these ones. I don't think I've ever complained about skins being released but my lord these skin choices are terrible LOL.
